Morgenstund hat Gold im Mund. Schon in den frühen Morgenstunden machten sich Aktivistinnen auf den Weg zum Arabella Sheraton (Herberge der Escada Hauptversammlung) Aktionärinnen - Begrüßungs - Din A 4 - Poster wurden überall im Umkreis verklebt. Da die Sheratonsecurities scheinbar der Meinung waren, dass wir diese freundliche Einstimmung auf den Versammlungstag im Auftrag von Escada ausführten - hinderten sie uns, sichtlich aufgeregt, länger an diesem Ort unserer Tätigkeit nachzugehen - vermutlich weil sie glauben, dass Escada angesichts ihrer desolaten Lage die Stundenlöhne nicht bezahlen könne.
Already in the wee hours of the morning activists set out for the „Arabella Sheraton“ hotel where Escada´s shareholder meeting took place. They glued „Welcome – Posters“ everywhere around the place. Because the security staff of the hotel seemed to think we would act in the name of Escada as we were hanging-up these little welcome surprises, they stopped us, looking really upset. Apparently they thought Escada was not able to pay our wages, what seems quite understandable considering their desperate financial situation.
