WAR Activists Return to Escada on Sunday for Round 2
Es ist höchste Zeit ESCADA pelzfrei zu machen! Wir freuen uns auf eure Aktionsberichte. Bitte schickt diese an: info@antifur-campaign.org
14.10.2007 - New York City (USA)
On Sunday, October 14th, New York City activists from WAR returned to the ESCADA store on trendy Fifth Avenue for Round 2. The previous day, animal rights activists had participated in the launch of the global campaign to make Escada fur free.
Our Sunday protest was much louder and more aggressive than the protest held on Saturday. Escada security, which was not expecting such a quick return visit, immediately locked the revolving doors preventing any potential customers from entering the store. Employees looked on in horror as Saturday’s mild and pleasant posters were replaced with large gory color posters of skinned fur animals and the quiet, mild mannered demonstrators were replaced with loud aggressive protesters.
The longer we wait, the more impatient and angrier we get.
