Fur out of the shops now!
Last Friday Respect voor Dieren (Respect for Animals) protested against the fur-trade in The Hague, Holland. Three fur selling shops were targeted, ESCADA being one of them. It was a quit day for the Escada, because activist protested in front of their door for hours. With images of raccoons and skinned foxes, with leaflets and a megaphone, we made clear why everyone should boy-cot fur sellers.
With about twenty persons in front of the shop, the boy-cot action was a great success. Only one person went inside, but clearly to talk only about this nasty activist in front of the shop. The passers by were shocked by the image of the skinned fox. With the megaphone we could call for a boy-cot of ESCADA in the entire street: don´t enter this shop, they sell killed animals, your money might go to furfamers, we can stop ESCADA in their cruel trade, boycot this shop!
